The Khmer Times published a great article in June 2023, full article [here], highlighting the avant-garde AirCrete project in Nesat Village.

Starting from a blank canvas, Garden of Edens‘ owners, Katrine and Simen, delved into the world of eco-building and connected with DomeGaia and the AirCrete method. Creativity was unleashed, with tailor-made tools, bold designs, and an exceptional hands-on workshop in the village (video about the workshop).

Since then, Garden of Edens has built two AirCrete bungalows, the first during the workshop and the second shortly after — with more to come. Follow their Facebook page to discover more about this inspiring eco-project.

Katrine and Simen are also the Norwegian owners behind Siem Reap’s Babel Guesthouse and Babel Boutique Hotel, eco-friendly hotels with a strong focus on Responsible Tourism (official website).
